Fishing Report Recap June 3rd to Jun 10th

My Joyce III Montauk, NY The beginning of the week kept us tied to the dock, which is nothing new for this spring. We finally sailed, but fishing was on the slow side. We picked some bass and fluke and other species that had to be released. Then we did a twilight trip with Nick and Laurie! They had a blast catching some nice striped bass and we had a beautiful sunset. The weekend came around and we took Sally, Kenny and the Schultze family out for a Saturday morning bottom fishing trip but the bite was slow. The afternoon trip for T Clarke produced some bass and blues where they played catch and release- what a fun time! The Sunday half day charter was with the John Hoffman family. The striped bass bite was slow, but the family had a blast constantly bending the rods on fluke and seabass, which where all released unharmed. We are coming up on good tides so the fishing should improve dramatically. Call Captain Ken at 516-641-2138 and book your next trip today!
